Transportation from Airport - Either Uber, taxi, or skytrain directly from the airport. Car Sharing - If you are travelling and not renting a car, we highly recommend that you make an EVO account before coming. This is a car sharing service that can save you money on Ubers and make parking quite a bit easier (you can leave it in city-owned parking spaces at no cost). <a href="https://evo.ca/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://evo.ca/</a> Bike Sharing - You can find Mobi bike docking stations everywhere in Vancouver, and they're really great for getting around. Try to find an e-bike version if you don't love biking up hills. <a href="https://www.mobibikes.ca/en/map" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.mobibikes.ca/en/map</a> Locations - Vancouver accommodations are a bit of a disaster (sorry!) but if you can manage to stay within Vancouver-proper, you will have an easier time getting around. We live in Mount Pleasant area (298 East 11th Ave.) and find it's really central to everything, but you can't go wrong with Kitsilano, East Vancouver, or Downtown. Let us know if you need a hand finding a place or navigating the city.

Welcome to Vancouver!!!! Most people are flying in at some point this day. Come meet us at Jericho Beach for a welcome party after you arrive and get settled - we'll be there around 2/3pm and will send a pin over Whatsapp so that you can find us. BYOB, we will have lots of snacks, games, and will BBQ some burgers and hot dogs for dinner. Bring a swimsuit and comfy clothes!
