Amy Somers - Maid of Honor
Amy has been the best friend of the bride for 23 years. Over these 2+ decades, the two have shared countless bellyaching laughs, a million and one heart to hearts, and memories to last a lifetime. Amy's infectious laughter will make anyone that hears it smile. When she's not giving doggos the haircuts of their dreams, she's either tending to her ever growing at-home jungle of plants, watching Dr. Phil, or shopping on Amazon. #CapellaForever
Corbin Forrester - Groomsman/Officiant
Bride's childhood best friend turned one of groom's BFF's as well! Friendship with groom established over shared dark humor in the Panera of TCNJ's campus. Should've attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Will do nearly anything for chicken parm and loves his dog more than life itself.
Jamie McKinnies - Bridesmaid
Baby sister of the bride--yes no matter how old she gets Julia cannot stop viewing her as the "baby" sister. Style and make up connoisseur; Julia's go-to when in need of a beauty product recommendation. Happiest when snuggled up with her cats. Will do anything for coffee. One of their favorite shared memories was the first sisters' trip in Miami touring the Wynwood Walls and a visit to the Miami Mojito Company.
Mark Bancroft - Best Man
Best friend of the groom since high school. Fellow disc golf enthusiast and the reason that the groom is sous-vide obsessed. The silly pop punk obsessed Mark has been a shining light in my Mike’s life and is someone who anyone would be lucky to call a friend. He introduced Mike to Chipotle for the first time, arguably a life changing event. These two gentleman also found out together that Jäegermeister is the devil and should be stricken from the shelves. From the early morning Burger King trips where Mike made a silly threat unlike no other, to driving to Niagara Falls on a whim (home skillet), the memories are vast and extensive. Mark is the ideal best man.
Megan O'Leary - Bridesmaid
Julia's first non-work friend made in adulthood (to which she and Megan love to bring up) with the friendship solidified at Auburn Road. Fellow foodie who joined Julia's sourdough obsession and is willing to try any and all restaurants and cuisines with Julia! Likely found with a book in her hand surrounded by her pets. Joined together in a quarantine bubble entirely devoted to Dutch Blitz.
Matt Miller - Groomsman
Improv BFF of the groom. Expert mac & cheese maker. World famous dancer to the Great British Baking Show's intro. Affectionately referred to as MATTY by Michael. Self proclaimed Captain Pool. Mike still thanks his lucky stars for waiting to take that next level of improv, because if he hadn't, he would have never met Matt and lost out on a phenomenal rocket league partner.
Meredith Wray - Bridesmaid
Meredith and Julia met in the 6th grade and bonded over their mutual love of art club. Fast forward through high school, their sleepovers were never dull and filled with Harry Potter marathons, making homemade fondant at 3 am, and then making crepes for breakfast. The foodie sleepovers have even continued into adulthood! Meredith is best known for suggesting a beach day in the middle of October. Julia is forever grateful for having at least one friend who isn't allergic to/also loves cats as much as she does.
Michael "Stew" Stewart - Groomsman
Mike met Stew at the ripe age of 19 years old. The two of them became friends rather quickly, bonding over their love of music and specifically Metallica. They later went on to form the “super group” who played a one off show at a gentleman’s club in Philadelphia. Despite Stew’s rough and tumble exterior, he is one of the best friends that Mike has had the pleasure of knowing and it’s an honor to have him as a groomsman. Ron.
April Roadside - Bridesmaid
Fellow sleepover BFF and tequila enthusiast. When working together at Chick-fil-A, April and Julia's shift would usually end with hour-plus long conversations in the parking lot about boys and life. When not in scrubs, April is playing with her beloved furbaby Chase or watching the Phillies/Eagles depending on the time year. Best known for "needing a new outfit".
Justin Vigile - Groomsman
Mike and Justin met when they were both 16 years old in the aisles of Best Buy. They quickly bonded over their love of dream theater, to the point where they were singing along to John Petrucci’s guitar solos. They started playing music together and would do so for years after that. Mike considers himself very lucky to have Justin as a friend, not only because he is one the most passionate friends a person could have, but also because Justin almost checked out early because of a rare heart condition. Battling through that, their friendship would get tighter and tighter, sharing many laughs and quite a few tears together over the years and Mike is looking forward to shedding a few more with Justin by his side on his wedding day.
Catherine Herbert - Bridesmaid
Julia's college friend and roommate. Julia and Catherine bonded over their mutual love of Hawaiian pizza and Gilmore Girls. Julia often references one of Catherine's paper title's from the Shakespeare class they took together when teaching her own students about the importance of a title in an essay..."Dope Title Knocks Socks Off"...yes, Catherine did in fact get an A on that paper. Catherine loves nothing more in this world than her dog, Lily.
Patrick Langton - Groomsman
One of Mike’s newest pals who very quickly became one of his best pals. After a full week’s vacation in North Carolina and the establishment of The Foot Boys crew (it’s not as weird as you think) Mike knew Pat would be a lifelong friend. A favorite memory for the two is actually one of Julia’s: after the group vacation in NC, Mike really wanted to hang out with Pat again. Like a lot. One day, out of the blue, Pat texted Mike and asked him to grab a beer. Mike was giddy and more excited than a kid in a candy shop. He got ready for the bro date with more excitement than a date with Julia. That was when not only Mike, but Julia knew too that Pat was a keeper.
