The story begins ten years ago when a couple of high school athletes played recreational volleyball at the Valley Sports Center in Canton, Connecticut. It was a night like any other, nothing special and nothing unexpected was to happen. But as Freddy walked into the gym, he encountered someone who would change his life forever… Julia.

After that night, Freddy made sure that Julia was going to be in his life. They began to text one another where conversation seemed to flow like water. Stories were told and lives unfolded. They never seemed to stop talking to each other, both eager to learn more. After a matter of a few weeks, their worlds opened to one another and intertwined effortlessly.

As the story goes on... Julia and Freddy’s relationship grew through stages of life. From biking around town as practically kids to achieving their bachelor’s degrees at UCONN, moving in together, and adopting Brody (their puppy), they built a relationship on the foundation of love and friendship. A relationship evolving from one night, to a summer, to ten years together, to the date at which they write you this tale. To the date where after ten years of love, laughter, and friendship, they find themselves building the rest of their lives together as husband and wife.
