Newport News Marriott at City Center
The Newport News Marriot at City Center is 5-10 minutes from CNU. Rooms have been set aside in the "Morris Jennings Wedding" room block. The rooms are being offered at a discounted rate and each room will include complimentary breakfast for two guests as well as complimentary self-parking.
Rooms must be reserved by Sunday, May 5, 2024 to guarantee the discounted rate. Guests may reserve rooms in the block by clicking on the button below or calling the phone number above.

Train
Amtrak services Newport News (NPN) as part of its Northeast Regional service.
The station is 15 minutes from the hotel.
Plane
Guests who are flying should consider the following airports:
* Newport News/Williamsburg (PHF) - only American Airlines serves PHF and flights connect through Charlotte, NC. Airport is 15 min from hotel.
* Norfolk (ORF) - non-stop flights available, including from all 3 NYC airports. Airport is about 45 min to 1 hour from hotel.
* Richmond (RIC) - non-stop flights available, including from all 3 NYC airports. Airport is about 1 hour from hotel.
* Washington/Dulles (IAD) - Airport is about 3 to 3.5 hours from hotel.
* Washington/National (DCA) - Airport is about 3 to 3.5 hours from hotel.
* Raleigh-Durham, NC (RDU) - Airport is about 3.5 hours from hotel.

Once you are in Newport News, options for traveling to and from the CNU campus (about 10 minutes away from the Marriott) include shuttle bus, using a rideshare service, and driving yourself.
Once you are at CNU, Pope Chapel and the David Student Union are a short 2-minute walk apart.
Shuttle Bus
We are providing a 32-passenger shuttle bus to transport guests between the Marriott and CNU.
Please note that we have ~65 guests staying at the hotel, so everyone will NOT fit onto the last bus. :)

* CNU (evening) - the circle between Pope Chapel and the David Student Union

* Evening - Depart CNU for Marriott - 9:00 pm, 9:45 pm, 10:15 pm, 11:00 pm

Rideshare / Note about CNU Building Addresses
If you are using a rideshare service to get to and from the CNU campus, use Pope Chapel as your drop-off/pickup location. It is near the intersection of Avenue of the Arts, Shoe Lane, and University Place. (Unfortunately, many of the buildings on the CNU campus have the same address,"1 Avenue of the Arts," and we don't want you to end up in the wrong place on campus.)
Driving / Parking at CNU
Parking at CNU, including Handicap parking, is available in Visitor Lot B (on the east side of Trible Library). Additional parking is available in Lot M, accessed from Shoe Lane, and in the Ferguson Center parking garage, accessed from Avenue of the Arts.
Guests may also be dropped off at Pope Chapel.
