Julia's Version: At 22 years old, I picked up life as I knew it and moved to North Carolina. Just one day before I met Thomas. I had graduated college in May of 2021 and was starting a new life in a state where I didn't know a single person. How convenient I met the love of my life in the first 24 hours of moving?

Thomas's version: I have always felt lucky to call the little beach town of Wilmington, NC my home. I took full advantage of the opportunities provided by this little beach town by attending UNCW to then finding my career at Live Oak Bank. Little to my knowledge, this didn't even begin to scratch the surface of my tremendous luck. On November 15th, 2021, 6 years into my job (no Jules - that does not make me seem "old"), I was blessed to meet the love of my life. After many long months and late nights of persistence, I was finally lucky enough to convince Julia to go on a date with me. Now, 2.5 years later, we are continuing our love story and I am continuing my luck by getting to make her my wife.
