Travelers from the US to the UK will need Electronic Traveler Authorisation. An ETA gives you permission to travel to the UK. You can apply on the UK ETA app from the App Store or Google Play. There is a £10 fee associated with Electronic Traveler Authorisation.

Clearwell Castle is a short walk from The Wyndham and the village of Clearwell. If you are staying there, we recommend walking from your accommodation to the castle. The path through the village and to the castle is safe and well lit. Parking is available at the castle if you are not staying within walking distance. If you are not planning to be sober at the end of the night, we recommend booking a taxi in advance! Uber is not available in the Forest of Dean.
