It was mid-July in the summer of 2013. Both Julia and Tyler were enjoying their favourite season by spending a night out with friends hitting up patios for a few drinks in downtown St. Catharines.

Julia was out for her cousin's 19th birthday with a bunch of his friends and her girlfriends. Tyler was also out with a few buddies that evening. Then-amongst the shots and music- Julia spotted Tyler across the patio. She was instantly intrigued. She pointed him out to a friend and mumbled " Now THAT is who I need, he is 100% Pure Canadian Beef". After a few more drinks and some back and forth between groups Tyler and his friends joined Julia's group for a shot and Julia went in for the kill- as did Tyler. Tyler later claimed he was so nervous to approach her. The rest of the evening they had some debates and intense conversations about music and mutually loved hobbies (snowboarding/skiing, going to the beach and travel) and hit it off immediately.

The following day they met at the Kilt and Clover for a few drinks and had their official first date. At that point they both felt (unbeknownst to each other) that the other was out of their league. July 13, 2013 was the beginning of something incredible.

Fast forward to August and they were officially a couple.

Fast forward to September and they had moved into a cute little apartment in downtown St. Catharines just a few blocks from where they met.

During this time the couple got to know each others family and friends. The love, support and the seamless transition into each others lives was incredible. Everyone embraced the new relationship.

Julia had always dreamt of going to Southern California and attending the Coachella Valley Music Festival. Her prince charming made it a reality for her on their first Christmas together and they were both ecstatic to be going on the trip of a lifetime and began planning immediately for all the beautiful beaches they wanted to hit up along the southern coast.

Julia had no idea but Tyler had already started planning something on his own....

On April 13- 9 months to the day of when they met- Tyler and Julia had just arrived in California and were staying on Pacific Beach. They went out for a beautiful Italian meal and afterwards he asked if they could walk down to the pier. Unfortunately, the piers are closed after dark and he became very nervous because he had his plan set for months. They went down to walk on the sand and he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She immediately said yes and they went to a bar by the beach to celebrate....

Here we are planning the final details for our big day. We are so excited to share our love with you and promise that our wedding is going to a very memorable event, largely in part to the company we will keep. We CANNOT wait!
