3. Explore the many parks - City Park, Rolland Moore, Spring Canyon - or walk the Poudre Trail through town

4. Enjoy one of the many breweries in town! Some of our favorites are: Stodgy, Odell, New Belgium, Salt Road, Intersect, and Prost

6. Enjoy a cup of coffee at any of our favorite spots: The Neighbor, Bread Fellow, Harbinger, Bindle, or Starry Night

DAY TRIPS OUTSIDE DENVER:

Boulder - hike around the flatirons, explore CU’s campus, or shop and eat on Pearl Street

Golden - explore old town, walk along clear creek, and hike up north table mountain

Idaho Springs - great mountain town with the state-famous beau joes pizza and great hiking in the area

Estes Park - hike in Rocky Mountain National Park (while it is quite snowy, you can see some beautiful sites and explore the mountains) and say hello to Camp Timberline while you’re up there

Skiing - April is the snowiest month here in Colorado so every resort will be in full swing! Vail and Winter Park are our favorites, but Loveland and Eldora are some great smaller mountains if you’re looking for a shorter and cheaper day!

Day trips to the (bigger) mountains - Breckenridge, Vail, Dillion/Frisco are all recommended
