Peter and Julia’s love story began in the summer of 2022, sparked by an unexpected twist of fate - and an Instagram post. Though they had known each other through mutual friends throughout the years, it wasn’t until Julia advertised her dog-sitting services that their paths truly aligned. Peter, seeing the perfect opportunity, reached out. Sure, he needed someone to look after his dog, Pistol, while moving back from Nashville - but he was even more interested in getting to know Julia.

Julia happily agreed to watch Pistol, and when Peter returned to pick him up, they struck up a conversation and made plans to hang out. From that moment on, their connection was undeniable. They quickly bonded over their shared love of dogs, delicious food, and great music.

Two and a half wonderful years later, Peter popped the question in the breathtaking beauty of northern Michigan. Julia said yes, and now they’re excited to begin the next chapter of their lives together.
