How to get to Cap de Creus

Getting to Cap de Creus Natural Park is easy, and there are several options depending on your starting point and mode of transport:

By car: From Peralada, take the C-252 road and connect with the N-260, following signs towards Llançà or Roses. You can also access the park via Cadaqués and Port Lligat.

Visit Cap de Creus Lighthouse

At the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, Cap de Creus Lighthouse offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean. On clear days, you can even glimpse the French coastline.

Hiking trails

The Cap de Creus hikes traverse cliffs, hidden coves, and Mediterranean forests. Don’t forget your camera, these landscapes are perfect for photography. One of the most famous routes is from the village of Cadaquès to Cap de Creus on foot.

Swim in coves and beaches

Relax in one of Cap de Creus’ pristine coves. Some are accessible on foot or by car, while others can only be reached by boat. We recommend Cala Tamariua, perfect for snorkelling, Cala Cativa, and Cala Portaló.
