Questions? We've Got Answers

How do I RSVP?

You can click the 'RSVP' tab at the top of this page and RSVP at any time or scan the QR code on your invitation. You will be able to RSVP for your whole party. If you received a paper RSVP with the invite and prefer to mail your RSVP back to us, you can do that as well!

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by July 31, 2025.

What if I don't RSVP in time?

If you do not RSVP by July 31st, 2025, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love to celebrate with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and unfortunately cannot accept late RSVP's.

what should I do if I cannot make it?

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate it on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd that you are attending, but find that you will not be able to make it, please notify us as soon as you are aware.

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Both will be held indoors! The ceremony will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Youngstown, Ohio, which is located about 10 minutes away from our venue. The cocktail hour and reception will be held at the Metroplex Expo Center in Girard, Ohio. Both addresses are listed on this website and your invitation.

what time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:15 PM. Please plan to arrive around 3:30-3:45 PM to ensure that you have plenty of time to mingle, find your seat, and settle in! If you arrive at the start of the ceremony, you will not be able to be seated.

where do i go after the ceremony?

After the ceremony commences, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the venue, where we will be serving hors d'oeuvres and beverages during a cocktail hour!

is there parking onsite?

Yes! There are two parking lots located across from the church that are available on the weekends, and there is plenty of parking onsite at the venue as well.

Can I take pictures?

We are having an "unplugged ceremony"; this means that we are asking all phones and devices be put away and on silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture some of the most important moments during our day. After the ceremony is complete, please feel free to take as many photos as you would like! If you take any photos, please send them to us so we can share them! We will be sure to share our ceremony photos with you as soon as we receive them!

Is there a dress code?

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting that all of our guests dress in semi-formal/cocktail attire, but please wear whatever makes you feel your best! We only kindly ask that you do not wear white, cream, or any shade of these colors as they are reserved for the bride.

Are there accommodations for food allergies?

Absolutely! Please reach out with any allergy-related concerns or requests. If you choose to RSVP online, there is a section to include any allergies/dietary restrictions you may have!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! There will be a wide selection of options for you to choose from so you can party all night long. Please enjoy the night with us and we will see you on the dance floor! If you choose to RSVP online, there is a section to request your favorite beverages!

Can I bring a date/plus one?

We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! Thank you for your understanding!

Are children invited?

Yes! We love your little ones! We will include all children invited on your invitation. We kindly ask that if your child is upset or crying during the ceremony that you take them out to the foyer to calm down. Thank you for your understanding!

do you have a registry?

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love! While gifts are not expected, we have registered for some items we need for our newlywed home. Our registry can be found under the 'Registry' tab!

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ tab, where we’ve compiled a list of our favorite local spots and fun things to do in the area before or after the wedding.

How do I contact you if I have a question?

We would love to hear your comments, questions, or concerns. If you need to get in touch with the bride or groom directly, send an email to parentewedding2025@gmail.com and we will get back to you promptly!
