Our Story

Our Love Story

Max and Julia met at Carolina Blue. Julia started her first job at the restaurant as a hostess in May of 2015 while a senior in high school. Max had been working there as a busboy since October 2014.


Max says he, "fell for Julia the first time he laid eyes on her."


As they worked throughout the summer together, Max grew the courage to ask Julia on a few dates before her leaving for college.


It wasn't until she returned from her Freshman year that they reconnected and started dating August 14th, 2016.

First St. Patty's Day Keg Krawl at Widener... Throughout their first year of dating, there were many first holidays, birthdays, etc. It was an amazing first year of meeting each other's families and enjoying time learning all about each other!

The first big trip Julia & Max took was on their one year anniversary. The couple went to Cherry Springs State Park in Coudersport, PA to stargaze the night sky. This was the most memorable trip for the couple, spiking their interest in traveling & seeing the world together.

The couple stood freezing in line to take a train to Philadelphia to see the Eagles parade. Later that day, Julia left to go take a Nursing exam that she did pretty well on considering.

Max and Julia's first long-distance trip to Pensacola, FL to spend time with Kylie and Jay. A 16-hour road trip which was totally worth it.

Julia graduates with her BSN from Widener University. She couldn't walk across the stage, so the grad had a surprise at-home graduation ceremony.

MAX PROPOSED!!! The couple went to Longwood Gardens, for what Julia thought was a normal date night, to enjoy the Christmas display. As Julia was preoccupied with her first semester back in school for her Master's degree, Max took the opportunity to pop the question.

Since Max and Julia noticed Lebron seemed lonely... they adopted Creidhne Rowan. He's a crazy orange lovebug from Philly who turned their house upside down (in the best way possible).
