In 2021, Nicholas and Julia’s love story began. From September 2021 to February 2022, they spent a lot of their downtime together, enjoying activities like watching movies, eating pizza, and going for drives getting to know each other. Their inseparable bond has only grown stronger since then. During this time Nicholas persistently asked Julia to be his girlfriend, but Julia kept pushing him off. Finally, on February 22nd, 2022, Nicholas took Julia to Bowering Park and asked Julia to be his girlfriend yet again, to which Julia finally said yes.   In February 2022, Nicholas and Julia welcomed their new kitten Benny, into their lives.  Their first trip together took them to Punta Cana in  August 2022, where they experienced an ultimate romantic getaway. They spent their days exploring, lounging in the sand and sipping frozen margaritas, but unfortunately, they ended the trip with extreme sunburns.  In July, 2022, Nicholas and Julia set out on a journey to find their dream home. Nicholas knew that he wanted to build their house but looking for the right piece of land was tricky, Nicholas’s nanny Smith gave them the greatest gift of all.. She gave them land that she owned and has been in the family for many generations located in Bishops cove shore. September 26, 2022 Julia and Nicholas began to mark out their land and cut away trees. Nicholas has dedicated many hours and hard work during rotation shifts to build their forever dream home.  On August 11th, 2024, Nicholas planned a weekend getaway for Julia. They started their day by watching the movie “Twisters” in the theatre. During the movie, Nicholas disappeared to the bathroom, later Julia discovered he had gone to Bogarts to get her ring resized. After the movie, they drove to an Airbnb in Tours Cove. Nicholas stood on the deck, admiring the beautiful waters. He invited Julia to come out and take a picture. As she was posing, Nicholas got down on one knee, tears streaming down his face. After a few seconds, he finally managed to speak, “Will you marry me?” Of course, she said yes!   2025, Julia and Nicholas are enjoying their engagement together, planning a wedding and finish building their house together.  They can’t wait to see what the future holds.
