Our Wedding

They met in New Rochelle NY, on January, 27th 2018 in a little college bar called “Beech”. Julia didn't even know that Michael went to Iona. They spent that whole night together with their friends bar hopping. At the end of the night, Mikey, speaking in a British accent asked for Julia number and of course she gave it to him. The rest of the semester they continued talking and grew as friends. After a couple instances of friend-zoning each other they finally made it "official" sitting in Julia's car at LGA Airport as she was dropping Mikey off to fly home for the summer. Four and a half years of dating later, after college, covid, and getting jobs, Mikey got down on one knee (on a freezing lake front in Vermont) and asked Julia to marry him. Not in a British accent, but of course Julia still said yes.
