Robert and I first started talking on a dating app called Hinge. I was living in Galveston for grad school and Robert was in Houston. We had made plans to meet up but nothing very serious. Then one weekend it was my friend Courtney's surprise birthday dinner at El Tiempo so I decided to go to Houston to celebrate. A few hours before the dinner I messaged Robert on the app and told him I was in Houston.

Julia: Hey I am in your hood tonight.

Robert: Oh really? I am going to El Tiempo for a birthday dinner. What are you up to?

Julia: I am actually going to El Tiempo for a birthday dinner too.

Robert: Don't tell me which one and if we are at the same one I will send over a marg.

9:00 pm at El Tiempo, I get a marg delivered to my table by Robert!

After dinner he went out with my friends and I to a bar called La Grange. He proposed 2 years later on the day we met at the same bar. Two of the best days so far with the very best coming! We cant wait for y'all to share this day with us.
