Our Story
We had gone to school together since the fifth grade, however we became best friends in eighth grade, after we were sat next to each other in our Spanish class. We began dating in May of 2017, just before the summer following our freshman year of high school.
From formals to football games...
From Tennessee to Texas...
Countless concerts...
And two graduations...
Over the last 7 years, we have done just about everything together! We truly are best friends and we are so over the moon to be planning the start of the rest of our lives together!
The Engagement!
The weekend of April 13, 2024, we had travelled home to Mobile to spend the weekend with family. He had mentioned before leaving Starkville that he wanted to eat at Dauphin's while we were home, so I would pack accordingly. Saturday afternoon, on the way to Dauphin's, he asked if I was "really even that hungry." I (reluctantly) told him no (I was very hungry), and he told me he wanted to go somewhere in Fairhope that he had found. We made a detour from downtown Mobile to Fairhope, where he brought me to Stedman's Landing, and asked me to marry him while overlooking Mobile Bay!
