With Ryan from Boston, and Julia from Raleigh, what were the chances they would both end up in the same building at Clemson University?

From the very beginning of our relationship we have so clearly witnessed God's hand in our story. We have seen how He brought us together, starting as friends in a tight-knit group full of wonderful individuals. As we grew closer together and closer to Christ, our relationship was strengthened and eventually started what would be a joy-filled 6 years of dating prior to our engagement.

These years included months of long distance, Julia graduating Clemson in 2020 and moving to start Medical School in Columbia, then Ryan completing his 5 year Co-Op program and moving to Charleston for his first job. Through the busy rhythms of navigating school and work, we made time to visit each other (with Ryan doing the bulk of driving across the state!). We grew more familiar with each other's wonderful family, and shared car rides to Raleigh, and plane rides to Boston. Even in longer periods apart, we always made time for goodnight phone calls and plenty of sunset and cat pictures.

When Ryan asked Julia to marry him, it was the easiest answer of all.

Now we are navigating the end of Julia's schooling with the Medical Residency Match, and trusting in the Lord as we wait for the news on where we will be starting our new life together!

We are so blessed to have one another through all the ups and downs of life, and could not be more grateful to celebrate with all our family and friends that are so dear to us, and such a huge part of our story!
