Julia and Erik’s love story began over a coffee date while Erik was home for Christmas in 2015. Time flew as they got lost in conversation, leading to a magical second date exploring downtown Christmas lights and the Parliament light show. Shortly after, Erik returned to Montreal, but they couldn’t stop talking.

A month and a half later, Julia made her way to Montreal with a friend for Igloofest, where their long-distance adventure continued. They often joke that they have so many friends to thank for their chance meeting and feel incredibly lucky that the universe brought them together.
