You do not have to get wet to have a one-of-a-kind experience inside The Crater. Many guests of our Utah Resort Hotel just enjoy the self-guided Crater tour, the history, geology, and archaeology of this unique natural phenomenon. But no need to worry — you don’t have to rappel through the top of the dome to enjoy all the fun. We’ve created a tunnel through the rock wall at ground level, lending access to our custom-built decks and a soaking area where guests can enjoy the crystal-clear mineral water. Once inside, you can go swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, enjoy a therapeutic soak or even take a paddle board yoga class.

The Heber Valley Railroad offers historic train rides through the beautiful Heber Valley.

Explore the park where the 2002 Winter Olympic Games were held. Experience bobsledding, complete a high ropes course, go zip-lining or walk around the museum and shops.

Cascade Springs is an easy loop trail that takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. The trail loops trough natural springs and waterfalls.

Wasatch Mountain State park has lots of trails to hike and explore. Take a picnic while enjoying the scenic view points.

Enjoy a day of kayaking, paddle boarding, boating or picnicking in the State Park.

Enjoy a day at the reservoir fishing, boating, kayaking or swimming. Rentals for boats, kayaks and paddle boards re available. The state park also offers scenic views and a campground.
