Hikes

These can get a bit populated. We suggest to plan for an early start on the trails to avoid some of the crowd.

Cathedral Rock (1.2 miles): One of our favorite hikes! Parking is very limited so we suggest going early in the morning. There are multiple stops along the way where you will want to take in the view, but continue to the top where the other side of the mountain opens to an untouched area of red of rocks.

Devil's Bridge (variable): There are so many trails that can lead you to this natural arch. It is a heavily populated hike with many visitors wanting to take pictures on the bridge, so we suggest to go early to this one as well.

Birthing Cave (1.9 miles): A short, but steep hike to sit in the slanted cave.

Mungs Wagon Trail (6.4 miles): A longer trail, but incredible panoramic views. You can choose to hike all 6.4 miles or take a 4x4 vehicle up to the spot.

Boynton Canyon Trail and Subway Cave (7.3 miles): Another longer hike, but worth the views. You will get the walk through a Cave that will open up to a beautiful view of the red rocks.

Pink Jeep Tours

Hiking is not your thing? That's okay. Here's the alternative: a pink jeep that takes you to panoramic views of Sedona.

Things to do outside Sedona

Jerome

This small ghost town is 40 minutes from Sedona and sits off of the side of a mountain. Check out the vintage shops, cafés, wine tastings, restaurants, boutique room accommodations, and ghost tours.

Flagstaff

40 minutes outside Sedona is another recommended area to explore. You will experience multiple switchbacks on your way up to this town. A whole other area to experience with more restaurants, breweries, shopping, arts, and downtown events.

Grand Canyon National Park

Take a two hour drive from Sedona or a train ride into the national park. Tons of walking paths along the rim and trails leading into the valley.
