Our story has one major theme, quality time. We met in the summer of 2019 during a Fourth of July weekend trip to Dewey Beach, Delaware; introduced through a group of friends Jenna had connected with while living in Philadelphia. Coincidentally, this group consisted of Julian's friends from high school - starting the snowball of interconnected social circles we discovered as we strengthened our bond.

We'll both admit that we didn't speak much at first, and Jenna will add that this is because Julian fled the beach moments after they met. Little did Jenna know, leaving the beach did not mean Jenna had left Julian's mind. We socialized, danced at the Starboard, and shared quality time under a firework-filled sky.

Our chance at love was fortified the following week when Jenna moved to New York City; Julian felt as if the stars had aligned for him. Our first 'unofficial' date was to install Jenna's air conditioner, providing her salvation from the summer's heat. Walking the Brooklyn bridge was our first 'official' date, where Jenna discovered Julian's love for making every moment one for photos.

For many couples, the COVID-19 pandemic era represented a make-or-break moment. For us, it acted as an incubator for our flourishing relationship. Collectively, we spent over a year together in Melbourne Beach, Florida, discovering each other's every like, dislike, pet-peeve, odd habit, truly testing our relationship. If you ask either of us, we will tell you that the beach walks, bike rides, and adventures to the grocery store (without a car), were some of the best moments we had ever shared and made us forget about the unprecedented circumstances outside of our fortunate oasis.

Quality time forged a path forward for us as we moved into our first apartment together in New York City. We faced new challenges from social commitments, professional ambitions, and continued building a vision of what a future together would look like.

Solidifying our commitment through engagement in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, we strive to accomplish the goals we set as a couple and create a happy, vivacious, and adventurous life together.
