Their love for a show called Avatar the Last Airbender sparked their first conversation on Instagram. They didn’t know it at the time but, that conversation would be the beginning of a beautiful friendship and eventually…a relationship! After the initial conversation, they texted on and off for a couple weeks before they made plans to hop

on zoom together to get to know each other. Little by little, those zoom sessions became a regular thing and before they knew it, Julian and Alex would speak almost everyday. After one year of being best friends, and finally having met each other in person, Alex decided that it was time to confess her feelings to Julian! At first, Julian was hesitant to start a relationship, especially a long distance one! However, after two months of thinking about it, Julian realized that there was no one he’d rather call his girlfriend. So on February 10th 2023, in the China Section of EPCOT, Julian officially asked Alex to be his Girlfriend. 1 year, 10 flights, and hundreds of hours on the phone later… THEY GOT ENGAGED!
