We formally met in the early spring of 2022 when we took biochemistry and biological neuroscience classes together at Simpson College. Juli was a senior and Daniel was a junior. We immediately hit it off and spent most of our time together.

Since then, we have supported each other through three years of medical school for Juli and one year of medical school for Daniel. We've traveled to multiple countries together and enjoyed trying new restaurants.

We have continually surprised each other when we discover our shared love for things like Star Wars, Lana del Rey, California burritos, and playing computer and video games.
