The year was 2015 at Canon City High School, sophomore year for Casey and Juliana. Casey was the cute new boy at school that all the girls were talking about. Juliana and her basketball teammates always talked about how cute Casey was in the warm up line.

Flash forward to 2022, Casey and Juliana reconnected after Casey sent a direct message on social media. A week later they met for their first date at MoMo for sushi in Canon City. Casey was waiting at the booth and Juliana hobbled in on crutches and in a cast. It was love at first sight and they have been inseparable ever since.
