In October of 2022, Jule and Chris met at a party through mutual friends. It didn’t take long for them to hit it off, and they were surprised by all of the unique things they had in common: being part of huge families (Jule one of 10, Chris one of 12!), being recovering homeschoolers, and being tired of the painful dating app experience. After exchanging numbers and texting for just two days, Chris asked Jule out and the rest is history!

Before they met, Chris served for four years in the Marine Corps, and Jule served for six years as a Catholic Missionary with FOCUS. Jule now works at the Penn Newman Center where she serves as Campus Minister and Communications Manager, and Chris is currently studying at Infinity Flight Group on the road to becoming a commercial pilot. They are saving up to rent an apartment in Philly where they will live together after marrying.
