Our colors are our birthstones: Purple/Amythest for Juliana & Blue/Sapphire for Jacob. So, if you want to wear “our colors,” feel free to wear any shade of blue or purple on the ticket! However, there’s NO need to only wear those colors! Feel free to wear whatever color you would to wear in Las Vegas...except for all-white.
What Should I Wear?
Great question! Please, dress in FORMAL ATTIRE or BLACK TIE (tuxedos are not required but please no jeans, shorts, or tank tops) We’d love if you imagined being invited to and attending a RED-CARPET event or The Tony Awards' After Party. This is your big shining moment so dress your best to impress!
We do ask that everyone refrains from wearing white dresses or all-white clothing/outfits (unless you are Juliana Renee Martin, aka the Bride).
Since our ceremony is at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, we appreciate everyone dressing modestly for a Catholic Mass. We cannot wait to see what stunning looks you bring to the runway!
CATEGORY IS: Red Carpet Eleganza! We hope to see some 10's across the board!
Wait. Two Locations? Why? Where?
Our ceremony will be held at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parish at 1:30PM. Juliana is Roman Catholic and cannot wait to receive the Sacrament of Matrimony with Jacob, plus with everyone to witness! At 4:30PM, our reception will be held after the ceremony at Emerald at Queensridge! It's just like Wicked the Musical said: "We're two best friends... in the Emerald City!" The ceremony and reception venues are less 3 miles away from each other, less than a ten minute drive.
Is There a Theme?
Yes, thanks for asking! Jake and Juliana met in Shakespeare Class and their love of theatre has brought them closer than ever. Creating and collaborating on theatrical, film, and other creative projects have been this couples favorite thing. Because of this, their reception will put a spotlight on all of their favorite plays and musicals that they have done in their lifetime, seen together, or performed together. 🎭 After all, “all the world’s a stage!”
Why 04-25-25?
Besides this sounding and looking very cool, April 25th has a very near and dear reason to Jacob and Juliana. April 25th, 1953 was Juliana's Nana and Papa's wedding. Nana Janice was extremely close to Juliana and Jacob, and was Juliana's last living grandparent while Jake and Jules started to date. Unfortunately, Nana Janice Papotto passed away due to COVID-19 in 2022. By sharing the same wedding date as Nana Janice & Papa George, we are honoring those who have paved the way for us. It is all of our grandparents that we aspire to be like, all of our parents' love stories we continue to tell, and we will carry on the legacy by sharing our vows for the first time; just like Juliana's Nana and Papa did on April 25th.
