Chris took me out to sushi one night after I got home from work. He was feeding me sushi with his chopsticks. He secretly placed the ring box in his chopsticks and asked me if I was "ready for the next piece" as he handed it to me like this.

Proposal

It was the end of January 2014. Chris was working as a phone salesmen at the time that we met and&nbsp;I needed to charge my phone.&nbsp;Chris and I ended up talking for a while. He gave me his salesmen card and a cookie.. and the rest is history! I took this picture of his car the second time we met.

When we met

Chris took me to Watkins Glen for the first time. It was so much fun! We've gone almost every year since!

Chris showed me the outlet trail for the first time. We got all the way to the end (Dresden, NY)&nbsp;and ate some ice cream!

Hiking Together- 6/1/14

Chris came to my house and surprised&nbsp;me on the 4th of July with this road trip to drive&nbsp;his step brother Kyle to&nbsp;Delaware. Chris met my Grandpa Lloyd in Virginia for the first time during this trip as well.

Road Trip- 7/6/14

Chris and I were so lucky to get to do this together. The lake was frozen solid this year and people were having a blast. Carrie took me and Chris and some friends to walk across the lake. It was my first time! 

Walk across Keuka Lake-2/23/15

This was the year I met Chris' dad for the first time! It was such a fun experience. Sadly we weren't able to go out boating, but we did visit a lot of restaurants. Rob introduced me to shrimp and cheesy grits, he also bought&nbsp;a fixer up project car at an auction. The&nbsp;weather was great and I'd never been to Florida before.

Rachel and I have been friends since middle School! Rachel and I have had many experiences together growing up. Rachel has a son and is still as comedic as the day we met!

Christopher Hopkins (A.K.A. Hoppy) is one of Chris's long time highschool friends. The Chris's often go to each other for council. Hoppy's advice may have encouraged Chris.

Meghan and I met around the same time as I met Chris. Meghan is Christopher Hopkins (Hoppy) sister. When I lived in Penn Yan we all hung out almost every day for about 2 years.

Ron and Chris are very old friends. Also a later member of the same high school band. It all started in middle school, with dyed hair and black clothes.

Keuka Lake is the best natural body of water I've ever swam in! Bring your bathing suits and take a dip! There are delicious lake trout to fish and boat rental options (Morgan Marine)! **I'm unsure what kind of zebra muscle season we'll experience. Water shoes may be required to walk on the smooth stone lake bed.**

The Windmill is an amazing example of the coexistence of the Mennonite community with&nbsp;"the English"! Tons of excellent quality&nbsp;handmade wooden furniture, toys (etc) and many other unique finds- not to mention delicious foods, can be found here! **Saturdays only**
