When should I RSVP by?

We kindly request that RSVPs be submitted by January 8. Your prompt response will help us finalize arrangements and ensure a wonderful celebration for all our guests. Your RSVP helps us finalize seating arrangements, catering, and other important details to make sure everyone has a fantastic time at our wedding. Your timely response is greatly appreciated.

Can I bring a plus-one/guest?

We appreciate your understanding, but due to space constraints, we're unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those named on the invitation.

What should I wear?

As the Scots would say...dress warm and "smart!" Our colors are black, and jewel-tone navy, green, and burgundy and we encourage you to match those colors if you would like! For our cozy winter celebration, we're suggesting semi-formal attire. Gentlemen, stylish suits or blazers with dress trousers are perfect. Ladies, embrace the season with chic cocktail dresses or elegant evening wear—feel free to add a touch of winter flair with wraps or seasonal accessories. Let's stay warm and stylish as we celebrate!

A winter wedding in the mountains? What about the weather?

We've thought about that! Our venue has both indoor and outdoor spaces and we will have space heaters and a fire pit outside for those who want to enjoy the outdoors. Dress in a warm coat for the ceremony which is planned to be a 20 minute ceremony outside before we adjourn inside for the reception. Our venue has never had a cancellation due to weather and salts the roads leading up to the venue in case of inclement weather.

Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?

We will have valet parking at the venue. So just pull right up to the front door of Castle Ladyhawke, and our valet will have it handled! We highly encourage carpooling and booking homes together with other family members and guests when you can to make it easier to get to the venue.

Who should I call if I have questions or concerns the day of the wedding?

Leading up to the wedding, feel free to reach out to Paul and Julie directly. On the day of the wedding, please contact any of the following people: Lorie Humbert 919-921-0949 Brandy Harrell 910-340-5337 Mandi Butler 919-223-0969 Kelly Andrews 919-915-0047 Neal Woodlief 919-819-1553

What time should I arrive to the wedding?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 PM. We ask that you arrive no later than 3:30 PM to provide ample time for parking.

Is there a registry or preferred gift option?

As our hearts unite in marriage, your love and support are the greatest gifts we could ever receive. However, if you're considering a gift, we kindly ask for contributions to help us create lasting memories that will enrich our journey as a newly married couple. Due to limited space in our cozy new home, monetary gifts would help us as we embark on new adventures together. We have also registered for several items that you can find on the registry tab of this website. Your generosity will allow us to create unforgettable moments and experiences. Your support means the world to us, and we are deeply thankful for you.

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

We want you to fully enjoy the moment and are planning an "unplugged" ceremony! We've arranged for professional photographers and videographers to capture the ceremony and reception. Please feel free to take photos and videos during the reception!

Will there be music requests or a specific playlist during the reception?

We're curating a playlist for the reception with our DJ and welcome your song requests! Feel free to share your favorite tunes on the RSVP form.
