Those of you who have known as a long time might be foggy on when we truly started dating. And well... you can say it was a long time coming...

Sean and Julie first met in high school as teenagers through mutual friends. But no, they were not high school sweethearts nor interested in a romantic relationship at that time.

They remained friends in college and early adulthood. Julie did try to date Sean at one point during this time but Sean needed to get out his bachelor years or whatever boys do these days. *eye roll*

After a yearlong residence "abroad" in Florida, Julie returned to Colorado in December of 2019 where she continued her friendship with Sean. They officially started dating in February of 2020, just before the onset of the pandemic. During their time together they have enjoyed traveling to places like Mexico, the Oregon coast, Las Vegas, exploring Colorado, and even shark diving in Florida. They also enjoy spending time with their four animals, Romeo, Arlo, Sheeva and Ellie. Finally, they share a hobby in gardening and are excited for the potential their new home brings.

They dated for four years before getting engaged in May of 2024 just after buying their first home together! Sean asked by attaching the ring to their dog Romeo, who was also wearing a bandana that said "My humans are getting married".

They are so excited for this next chapter and are ready to let this adventure begin!
