It was a sunny Sunday in April of 2021. When Julie received a phone call from her boss... "Julieta!! can you travel to Denver next week to help with a temporary project? Will be only for few weeks."

Julie traveled from Mexico City to Denver on April 11, 2021 for what would be a trip of only a few weeks. She took a taxi to Brian's house, where she would stay during her stay in Denver. When she arrived she knocked on the door, he opened it and they both fell in love immediately. YEAH! Just like that, like a fairy tale. Lol.

The day Julie had to return to Mexico City, they had a dinner with their friends Jen & Phil and where each one made a "wish" in a toast for the fact of having met; Brian's wish was for her to return to Denver quick, Julie's wish was for them to be together forever. After 30 days in Mexico, Julie returned to Denver for the second time on July 4, 2021 and they have been together living their happily ever after story ever since.

Wishes do come true!!!

1. The cruise trip were they got engaged was a Christmas present from Brian's parents.

2. Julie's mom and sister sent them an overly emotional and crying voice note the day they found out they were engaged.

3. Every single person on the cruise, passengers and staff, congratulated them on their engagement, something they will never forget.

4. They got engaged with a ring that Brian's grandmother gave him when he was 5 years old.

5. Brian carried the ring with him everywhere during the two-week cruise waiting for the right moment.

6. The chef in charge of the wedding menu has served the Obama's and Heidi Klum.

7. After the reception there will be an after party only for the bravest.
