Jonathan and Julie met in November of 2016 in the college town & coolest brewery hub in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Jonathan was working at Stryker, and Julie had just begun her Masters Degree at Western Michigan University. Not long after they started dating, Jonathan moved to Warsaw, IN for a better job opportunity. They continued their relationship from different states, and visited one another two times a month. After graduating with her Masters Degree, Julie and Jonathan moved to Valparaiso, IN to start a new life together. After living in Kalamazoo and Valparaiso, they now live in Mishawaka, IN, where they moved for a new job opportunity for Julie, and to be closer to Jonathan’s work in October 2020. 

In July of 2020 (mid COVID 19 pandemic), Jonathan and Julie planned a getaway trip to visit her parents in Julie’s hometown. They went on a family hike through Great Falls National Park on a beautifully sunny day. On the last overlook of the falls, Jonathan handed their GoPro to Julie’s dad, got down on one knee and proposed to Julie.

Now they will be joining their lives together as husband and wife in South Bend, Indiana. They cannot wait to be surrounded by their family and friends as they celebrate this occasion.
