West Point on the Eno is where Cody and Julie had their first date and where Cody proposed to Julie in November of 2021. This park is a great place to walk around on trails or hop in the river for a swim!!

Wonderful public garden in Durham for walking or a picnic! Cody and Julie have spent many lovely afternoons wandering amongst the blooms!

Wonderful local museum! Julie has been loving the Museum of Life and Science since she was a baby! Go find the life size dinosaurs hidden in their surrounding woods and explore the butterfly house!!

Dukes Art Museum, down the road from Duke Gardens. Lots of amazing art and recently free for all visitors!

One of our favorite ice cream places in the Triangle and the location of many of our first dates! Their front porch is a great place to sit and drink a milkshake looking over green pastures!

Julie has been picking strawberries here her whole life! Just a 20 minute drive outside of Durham Lyon Farms has the best strawberry ice cream in the world and lovely picnic tables by their pond for sitting.
