Wilson and I met through mutual friends in Greek life.

Our first date was at a Chinese restaurant and Dave & Busters. I was super shy but we got to know each other a bit. I was very attracted to his mature, charismatic, and cool personality. I will always remember our date at the Chinese restaurant because towards the end of our dinner, I got a fortune cookie with the message: “A new romance is in the future.” It was hilarious! I burst out laughing while I read it out loud to him and he didn’t believe what I told him until I showed the fortune.

I took that message as it was our start of something new. *queue the High School Musical song*

After the date was over, it started to rain. I was bummed out about it because I just got new white sneakers. He noticed my dilemma, crouched down and offered to carry me by piggybacking back to his car. He opened the passenger door for me to get into the car. (To this day, he refuses to let me open the door myself, he’ll always open the door for me. He’s a real gentleman. He treats me like a princess.)

In the car ride, he asked what songs I like to listen to. I told him I’ve been listening to a lot of Disney lately. He told me he loved Disney as well then we had a mini karaoke session throughout the entire car ride until he took me back home. Our love for Disney is something we will always share together. Here’s to our Happily Ever After. 🥰
