Our Wedding

After being virtual friends for two years, Gabriel and Julie finally met in person in September 2021, when Gabriel traveled to Philadelphia to visit Julie—and her dog, Leo. That first week together was filled with jazz clubs, minor league baseball games (Go Blue Rocks!), and sampling all the amazing food Philly has to offer. By the end of the week, they knew they wanted to make their relationship official.

During one of Gabriel’s visits, they got an unexpected call from their real estate agent about a house in the suburbs that sounded like a dream. Without hesitation, they jumped in the car to check it out—and instantly fell in love. In March 2022, they officially became homeowners in Havertown, PA. Just a month later, in April 2022, Gabriel made the big move to Pennsylvania, and they began building their life together. In September 2022, Gabriel’s cat, Marbles, joined the household and immediately bonded with Leo. The family grew even more in January 2023 when Julie and Gabriel adopted Coltrane, a sweet rescue cat from South Philly, completing their furry trio.

Fast forward to the fall of 2024: Gabriel and Julie embarked on the trip of a lifetime to Iceland, exploring the country in a campervan. One unforgettable stop on their road trip was the breathtaking Vestrahorn mountain range. Standing on a black sand beach at sunset, with the mountains in the distance, Gabriel got down on one knee and asked Julie to marry him. She said yes!

Now, they’re counting down the days until October 12, 2025, when they’ll celebrate their love surrounded by their closest friends and family. They can’t wait to see you there!

Enjoy our favorite local park by following an easygoing paved trail along the bubbling creek or venture through various hiking trails! There's plenty of beauty to be seen at Ridley Creek State Park.
