Our Wedding

Brandon and I met shortly after he moved to Hoboken in the spring of 2022. For our first date, we went for a walk along the Hudson River and grabbed drinks at Pier 13. In the following weeks, I joined Brandon as he crossed off some of his NYC bucket list items: Broadway show, The Edge, Comedy Cellar, and more. Slowly but surely, we started spending all of our time together. Brandon got to know my parents and siblings through nights out in Hoboken and visits to Spring Lake. We also planned visits to Arkansas and Oklahoma, so I could spend time getting to know his family. Brandon proposed on the Spring Lake boardwalk on Christmas Day. It was the perfect proposal and the easiest “yes!” We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding with the people we love and can’t wait to start our lives together!

If you're traveling by plane, we recommend flying into Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and then renting a car or taking an Uber. Newark Airport is about 50 miles away from Spring Lake. John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, and Philadelphia International Airport are other options, but they are farther away (~70-80 miles from Spring Lake.)

If you’re planning to turn this trip into a longer vacation, you can visit New York City, which is about 60 miles from Spring Lake. To get there, you can take New Jersey Transit from the Spring Lake Train Station to New York Penn Station. The train ride is a little over 2 hours, and the link to the NJ Transit website is below. You could also drive, but be sure to plan in advance for parking. If you’re looking for restaurants, hotels, and things to do, TripAdvisor has some really helpful guides!
