Our story begins on a warm fall night in California. Julie was living in Los Angeles and Fabrizio was living in Santa Barbara. After connecting online they decided to meet at a rooftop cinema in Hollywood to see "Scream". Fabrizio drove two hours (on his very cool motorcycle) to meet Julie. Fabrizio was 30 minutes early. Julie was, of course, 30 minutes late. Both were smitten at first sight.

Julie and Fabrizio dated long distance for a few months. Julie loved hiking and exploring Santa Barbara with Fabrizio. Fabrizio only mildly tolerated the chlorophyll water and astrology readings forced upon him in L.A. (although he did love hiking in the Hollywood hills and getting ice cream on Abbot Kinney).

Fabrizio was offered his dream role at NASA and was gearing up to move to Washington, D.C. at the end of the month. However, life had other plans and after Covid hit, instead of moving to D.C. Fabrizio stayed with Julie in California.

After staying in seven different airbnbs in various parts of Southern California and spending a lot of quality time in San Diego with Julie's parents (where Fabrizio really got to know Mary and Roger, who Julie now swears love Fabrizio more than her); Julie and Fabrizio decided to pack up all of their belongings, drive cross country and move together to Washington D.C.

Julie and Fabrizio have now spent the past three years living in D.C. in a cozy apartment in the heart of the city. They don't have any pets, but they have six house plants that they've managed to keep alive (Julie is very proud of this fact). They are still just as smitten as the first night they met.
