Our Wedding

Our story began in the spring of 2014 when our paths finally crossed. We were always in similar places at similar times - born in South Florida, lived in Atlanta, and&nbsp;went to UCF -&nbsp;but never seemed to meet.&nbsp; Until -&nbsp;we both landed&nbsp;our first corporate jobs with&nbsp;Universal Orlando Resort.&nbsp;

I was an intern and very new, and needed to borrow a USB splitter. One of my team mates instructed me that a guy by the name of "Austin in Sales"&nbsp;has been borrowing ours, and that he will know what I'm looking for. So, I walked up to the second floor not knowing I was about to meet my future fiance.&nbsp;



When I got to his cube, I knocked on the side, and remember thinking "oh, wow&nbsp;he's attractive" and no longer remembering why I even came upstairs. He was on the phone and I awkwardly&nbsp;waited for what felt like 20 minutes until he was finished talking to a client. He apologized for the wait and I&nbsp;felt my face turn as red as a stop sign as I introduced myself as the new intern and asked him for the USB I&nbsp;was looking for. He looked at me with confusion and said "I'm not sure what you're looking for, sorry." Mortified, I walked downstairs and swore I would never go to the second floor again.&nbsp;



I'd see him in the halls pretty much daily, and would always smile big and say hello (still mortified weeks later, and still USB-less). Funny enough, Austin does not remember that initial conversation. If you ask him now, he would respond "I thought you were always just&nbsp;so nice and always said hello to me!"&nbsp;



At the time, the employee parking garage near our corporate offices were being built, and we were being asked to park in the CityWalk garages until it was complete. Let me just add that the CityWalk garage&nbsp;is about a mile away from our office! Austin was involved with&nbsp;the Grad Bash event at the time and was one of the lucky and few employees to have a drive-on approved (which means he could park back of house where the executives parked on event days).&nbsp;



As I was embarking on the dreaded,&nbsp;long walk to the CityWalk garage one Friday afternoon&nbsp;in the middle of&nbsp;summer, I heard Austin yell from behind me - "Hey! Do you need a ride?" Before even looking to see who offered, all I could think was that God was on my side that day. Once I looked and saw that it was him, I almost passed out - and not from the mid-summer Florida heat! So of course I said "yes" not knowing that wouldn't be the last time that I did. Before dropping me off, he asked for my number and I gave it to him without any hesitation. We went to lunch a week or two later,&nbsp;and the rest is history!

Montana and Julie met during their first semester of college at UCF and became fast friends after joining the same sorority that Fall. They were roommates for years, share a love of nail polishes, cheese, and going to the movies together.

Logan and Austin met in high school and remained close in college.&nbsp;They enjoy travel, beer, and cigars together.&nbsp;

Chad is Austin's younger&nbsp;(but now bigger) brother. A&nbsp;constant companion in Austin's life; their favorite time together is on the boat chasing gamefish.&nbsp;

Leslie is Julie's sister who promoted her to Auntie J. When she's not dreaming about going to Disney, she's busy being a mom to Declan and her pups.

Ali is&nbsp;Julie's new sister-to-be. They first met at Austin's birthday dinner and bonded from the start. They both enjoy&nbsp;trying the&nbsp;newest restaurants, travel, and coffee.&nbsp;

Austin and Dan met during graduate&nbsp;school and quickly became close friends.&nbsp;They both enjoy UCF Football,&nbsp;sharing headlines about business news, and Orlando happenings.&nbsp;

Lauren and Julie first met in Denver, CO. (where she&nbsp;and her husband,&nbsp;Logan, lived at the time)&nbsp;and became instant friends. They bonded over the Bachelor, karaoke, and many slip and falls over ice. The four even had the opportunity to meet up in Italy!&nbsp;

Garrett and Austin grew up a few streets apart and&nbsp;have been friends since before kindergarten. Some of their best memories were made during the years&nbsp;they lived together while attending the University of Central Florida.&nbsp;

Tyler and Austin met during high-school and bonded during their time on the rowing team. Over the years, the two have stayed close and shared many amazing travels together.&nbsp;

We have reserved a room block at the Embassy Suites by Hilton&nbsp;overlooking&nbsp;Lake Eola, downtown Orlando. The hotel is only a few blocks away from the reception location (Citrus Club).

If you are staying at the Embassy Suites:&nbsp;complementary transportation can be requested at the hotel that will take you&nbsp;from the Embassy Suites&nbsp;to the Citrus Club.&nbsp;

However, the Citrus Club is a few short blocks away from the Embassy Suites. If your shoes are comfortable enough, feel free to take an easy stroll through downtown.&nbsp; 



If you are staying elsewhere:&nbsp;we strongly recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to the Citrus Club, or parking in the Citrus Club&nbsp;parking garage off of Orange Ave.&nbsp;

Established in 1938, the Winter Park Boat Tour is Winter Park's hidden gem, located just steps away from Park Avenue. The boat tour offers hour-long, guided cruises through three of the seven lakes, and two, narrow man-made canals on the tranquil Winter Park chain. It is a great way to learn the history of Winter Park, see private homes and exquisite estates, wildlife, Rollins College (where the ceremony will be hosted), and endless plants and flowers home to Central Florida - all by boat.&nbsp;

East End Market is a neighborhood market and food hub in the Audubon Park Garden District of Orlando, Florida. The Market showcases some of Central Florida’s top food entrepreneurs, tradespeople, artists, and chefs.
