Our story begins way back in elementary school! This picture is from our 6th grade musical, where Brett played the Tin Man and Julie played Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz."

We reconnected in college and hit it off on a night out with friends. We went on our first date at Tasi a few days later :)

Halloween date

It's official: Brett asked Julie to be his girlfriend

1st concert together: Cold War Kids (one of Brett's favorite bands!)

1st Valentine's Day together

Julie graduates from The Ohio State University

1st Anniversary: With Julie teaching in France, we celebrated over FaceTime

Reunited: Julie returns home after living in France for 8 months

1st vacation together: We took a trip to Charleston, SC for Brett's birthday and to see one of our favorite bands, Mt. Joy

Moved in together (and Winslow too, of course!)

The concert series continues with Glass Animals (are you picking up on a theme??)

2nd Anniversary

Moved into our 2nd apartment together, a duplex in Harrison West we still call "home."

3rd Anniversary

Party of 4: Winnie joined the family, who we took in from Brett's mom (Winslow wasn't too thrilled... and still doesn't like sharing his bed)

We love Halloween (especially Julie), but we might never top this costume as Kermit and Miss Piggy!

4th Anniversary: We spent this anniversary helping Winslow recover from ACL surgery :,)

Vacation in Phoenix, AZ: We went on this trip to celebrate Brett's birthday (this picture is on a hot air balloon ride!), but it turned out Brett had a surprise planned for Julie too...

We got engaged!
