The wedding and reception will be held outside at the wedding area of Mountain View Orchards. Mountain View orchards consists of Grateful Vineyard, the orchard part and wedding venue site. Please go to the wedding area (behind grateful vineyard), and park next to the parking signs.

We recommend staying 30 minutes away in either Hood River, Bingen or White Salmon. The wedding will be taking place near beautiful Parkdale Oregon which is a small community with only a few amenities.

Please arrive at 3pm. The ceremony begins at 3:30 and we would like to have everyone seated by then. Please do not arrive earlier than 3pm due to our contract times with our venue. There will be a shuttle provided leaving from Hood River to Mountain View Orchards. There will be another shuttle leaving the venue at 8:30pm back to Hood River.

Yes, if you are flying into Portland, you should rent a car to drive out to Hood River. Hood River is 45miles east of Portland and takes about 50minutes to drive from the airport using I-84. We recommend bringing cash (credit cards also accepted) for the bridge tolls. Crossing the bridges are 3.50 for Hood River Bridge and Cascade Locks Bridge if you want to venture over to the Washington side (bridges are free to cross near Portland on I-205 and I-5.). -Hood River does not have any Uber or Lyft drivers. Renting a car at PDX would be a good idea. Otherwise, there is Gorge taxi (541-399-5060; www.gorgetaxi.com), Gorge PDX Shuttle (541-800-2028; www.gorgepdxshuttle.com) or Hood River Pedicab (541-714-3130; www.hoodriverpedicab.com).

We recommend anything comfortable for an outdoor wedding. Colorful cocktail attire recommended. The wedding ceremony and rehearsal dinner will take place outside rain or shine. Dinner and the reception will be held under a covered pavilion but will also be outdoors.

Your presence is enough of a gift to us! We have everything we need, but we did put together a small registry and honeymoon fund available for those who wish to gift us with anything extra.

So far we currently have no rooms blocked at any of the hotels mentioned, but we recommend also looking at various AirB&B's or VRBO's to stay at if hotels are filled up.

September in Oregon can range from 60-75 degrees, but has also been known to have occasional heat waves during the middle of the month. The ceremony and reception will take place outside so please take that into consideration.

Phones are not allowed during the ceremony, however, they are allowed for the reception. Please do not have phones out until the reception.

Yes children are allowed. We just ask to please try to keep your little one quiet during the ceremony.
