I'm so lucky to be in love with my best friend!! Here is our story....

We met in January 2020, both dual enrolled juniors in high school at Concordia University Ann Arbor’s Public Speaking class. Isaac told me later, that when I walked in, he thought I was the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen! He sat behind me, and I could not stop looking at him through the reflection of my laptop. It wasn’t long before he asked for my number and we were texting all the time. Our first date in late February was cancelled because of a snowstorm, so our first official date was March 2nd, and he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was the most perfect date! Until our next date, and that one was even more incredible! And then, the pandemic hit, and we didn’t see each other for 10 weeks.

During those ten weeks we grew closer, and finally we were able to date again! And every date was more perfect than the last. We spent the next summer mostly at the lake (we couldn't go anywhere else with the pandemic) and it was absolutely perfect. By the end of summer, we both felt we knew were made for each other. And we exchanged promise rings around our 6 month anniversary.

We faced many challenges in the months to come, but through each one, we grew stronger. We shared sooooo many memories, like he asked me to junior prom on our first date, but it was cancelled, so we made a home prom! And the next spring we finally got to go to senior prom together! We went to a pandemic homecoming too! We took short trips together, and started to make plans for our future. We always support each other's dreams, and our biggest dream is a future together!

We faced another 2 month separation because of the pandemic in fall of 2021, and when we came back together again, Isaac proposed! It was the best and most romantic moment EVER! We couldn't be happier, or more in love. And the ring, the proposal, it was everything us and everything perfect! Our love is our greatest blessing and treasure, and we are SO excited to get married!

Our wedding will be after we both graduate, and we'll update the website with all of those plans as we get them together. We thank you all for your love and support!
