It started with a bowl of Pho. A captivating conversation that left the two wanting more. In an attempt to continue on, Robert mentioned the movies and off they went to see “A Beautiful Day in The Neighborhood” …. and that it was. However, it didn’t end there. On the way home, Juliette recalls speaking to one of her sisters on the phone stating “He’s going to be my boyfriend”. Now that’s what I call a manifestation! The two could not get enough each other so much so that in that same night they had planned on seeing each other again very soon, in fact multiple times in the coming weeks.

As months passed, Juliette and Robert moved into their apartment with Aletta and it was the beginning of their lives together as their own little family. Time went on and they decided to take go to Croatia not knowing what was in store. Robert had been planning an unforgettable trip. To those who may not know, Robert is Croatian and his mothers side of the family lives in Croatia. With the help of his family out there, they secretly planned the big day. On a previous trip Robert and Juliette had taken to Croatia She had mentioned that one day she would LOVE to stay on this little island, Mali Losinj. Well for those of you who know Robert…. he never forgot that.

During the trip he surprised Juliette by telling her they were going to stay in this little “modest” hotel on the island. On their way, he kept the big surprise and they pulled up to a hotel and unloaded little Aletta and her Nona, THEN tells Juliette they are staying at a different hotel! Juliette was as confused as can be. Off they went, to a different hotel that was breathtaking. It was full of Star Gazers and the smell of them still lingers when they think of that day. He treated her to an amazing Michelin Star Lunch that literally changed their lives. They were left to explore and before you know it, it was time for an unforgettable evening. They got ready and Robert took her on this weird windy goat ridden road up a mountain. Juliette thought to herself “how weird…im not dressed for a mountain walk”. To her surprise he took her to this beautiful little restaurant atop the mountain that overlooked the island and the Adriatic Sea. THEN IT HAPPENED! Robert got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Her heart full of joy and excitement, she without hesitation said YES!

Excited to start this new adventure with each other, they thought what better way to celebrate than to share it with all of you. They hope to see you all soon July 11, 2024.
