He earned a dual degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice, showing his commitment to making a difference in the world. Meanwhile, Maya, dedicated to service, was a vital part of AmeriCorps and "Collage Against Cancer," graduating with a degree in Social Work and a minor in Psychology.

Their bond grew stronger with each shared experience and conversation, laying the foundation for their love. On March 4th, 2023, during a birthday celebration, Julius surprised Maya with a heartfelt proposal, asking her to become his fiancée.
