College sweethearts

Our story began at Rio Hondo Community College. We were both going to school for Child Development and Childhood Education. As the semester began, we both took courses that would eventually fall into each other's schedules. Honestly, we never believed in love at first sight until we met. We both told ourselves that we won't go looking for love but let love find us and sure enough it did. We sat next to each other and from there on an amazing friendship began. After text messages that involved “Can I borrow the notes for next week” and “I can’t believe I got that score without studying” deeper conversations began to arise. We talked about our families, what we want in life, what our strengths and weaknesses are, etc.. It felt like we met at the perfect time. We shared a bowl of ramen on our first date and held hands through a pumpkin patch. Five years later we both have accomplished so much together. We could go on and on about how much we love each other. But, to make a long story short.. We can't imagine doing life without each other.

I like to say that God put us in each other's life for a reason. We can't wait for what the future holds and all the adventures that we will create in the process. We hope to celebrate love with you on September 1st, 2024.
