San Pedro Sula is very humid and hot with temperatures in the 90s.

If you are a US citizen/Resident, you do not need a visa to travel into the country. Your passport must have 3 months of validity. If you do not have a US passport, please check if you will need a visa.

We want you to stay cool and comfortable because it will get HOT! For the ladies, a nice summer dress. For the men, khakis or linen pants are ok with a dress shirt.

I would highly encourage you to exchange US Dollars to Lempiras in a bank before arriving to Honduras, Your personal bank will provide you with a better exchange rate. Some banks don't carry the Honduran currency on hand, so please plan accordingly and go to your bank about 2 weeks prior to your travel date.
