Ray and Justice met on August 30th of 2018 at the orientation for their first semester at UW-Madison. Following orientation, they headed to Union South to pick up bus passes not knowing the life-long journey ahead. A simple trip to the union quickly turned into a full-blown campus adventure exploring state street, farmers markets, art stores, and boba tea shops. Their adventure culminated in decorating a succulent and pot with paint markers at Memorial Union. The succulent, which they named Jamie, became the first of many succulents and memories that they would collect/make together. Throughout their college years, the two continued to add more succulents to their collection and continued to make many memories including ballroom dances, silent discos, water parks, skiing and hiking. Ray and Justice got engaged February 23rd 2024 and are excited to be wed on May 17th 2025.
