OUR STORY

In August 2017, Justin was starting a Human Anatomy course at Ohio University. Little did he know that he was about to meet the love of his life - his Teaching Assistant, Taylor.

As the semester went on, Justin and Taylor started spending more time together, as friends. They quickly became close, bonding over their shared interests and sense of humor. But as the end of the semester approached, Taylor was set to graduate, while Justin still had a year left of school. Despite the circumstances, Justin and Taylor stayed in touch, spending many nights on the phone, talking, and laughing...Becoming the best friend to one another that they are today. Justin and Taylor grew to become each other’s person, supporting each other through the ups and downs of their respective journeys.

After graduating, Justin made the bold move to Phoenix, Arizona, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Taylor was thrilled for him and visited him in Phoenix during the COVID-19 pandemic. They realized that their bond was stronger than ever and decided to take the next step - Taylor moved to Phoenix to be with Justin. They moved into a townhome together and rescued an adorable dog named Mr. King, who quickly became a cherished member of their family.

On May 19th, 2023, with the help of their friends Taylor Siffermann, Jessica Castro, and Jessica’s 5-year-old son Moses, Justin got down on one knee and proposed. It was a beautiful spring day at Papago Park…and Taylor said yes! They embraced, excited to start the next chapter of their love story. They say their official date as to when they started dating was 10/18/2019. And here they are, 5 years later, getting married on the same day.

Justin and Taylor's relationship is a testament to the power of friendship, determination, and love. Their story reminds us that true connection can overcome any obstacle and that with a little bit of courage and a lot of heart, anything is possible.
