On March 13, 2021, we both signed up on farmersonly.com. On March 15, 2021 I messaged him and told him I liked his smile. He responded with, "Same". We texted a little bit and then he asked if we could talk on the phone because he was driving. He sent me his phone number and we talked on the phone for well over 8 hours. He had just left Amarillo and was on his way to Atlanta and we talked the entire time. We found out we had a ton of things in common, such as our love for Fraggle Rock, metal lunch boxes we both had, music, Jesus, and food. We talked the next day for well over 6 hours, and decided this was it. We both deleted our Farmers Only accounts on March 16. We talked on the phone daily for hours at a time, and on March 30, he came into town and we had our first date at Cancun (the Mexican restaurant, not the city in Mexico). We have been inseparable since. He proposed to me after only a month of being together. We just knew that God had put us together for good. We started a business together in May 2022, which was short lived due to a bad accident. Rather than let it destroy us, it made us stronger. We had to learn to struggle together. We joined the church together in August of 2022. We even worked together at McCoy's for a while. Meanwhile, everyone kept asking when we were going to officially get married. We kept putting it off, and then we had a great conversation with our pastor, Brian. He told us, "Just get married already! Don't worry about trying to find a date where everyone can make it. Set a date, and if people show up, they show up. If they don't, they don't. But do it!" So we set a date and here we are! We are so excited to finally get to this day, and we are so blessed to have our friends and family celebrate with us. Thank you for loving and supporting us through this journey.
