Some love stories begin with chance encounters. Ours started a little closer to home — through family. From the very beginning, something just clicked.Our first official date was in January 2016, when we went to see Daddy’s Home. It wasn’t fancy, but it was real — full of laughter, shared popcorn, and the kind of easy connection that felt like we’d known each other forever.Since then, our journey together has taken us on countless road trips (our favorite way to escape and reconnect), through new adventures, everyday moments, and all the ups and downs in between. What makes our relationship special isn’t just what we do, but how we do it — together. We’ve faced the good, the bad, and the ugly head-on, and every single time, we’ve come out stronger, hand in hand.The proposal? Let’s just say it didn’t go exactly to plan — which somehow made it perfect. Justin had every intention of proposing at a beautiful beach in Queensland during a family holiday. But life had other ideas (and Clare was having a day). So, after a big splash-filled day at Wet 'N' Wild, he asked the big question in the car park of our hotel in Tweed Heads. We could not think of a better person to have standing by my side other than her OG ride or die!
She may be small, but her heart is huge — and from the moment she came into my life, she’s been my greatest joy, my loudest cheerleader, my little voice of reason (and occasionally sass), and my built-in best friend.
From the moment she arrived, Clare has filled my life with love, laughter, and her own special kind of magic. We’ve shared so many moments — the good, the bad, the unforgettable — often with a few tears and a lot of hugs along the way.
She started out a princess in sparkles and tiaras... and somewhere along the way became a fearless, strong version of herself with a soft heart and a quick wit. No matter how she grows or changes, the love between us stays timeless — deep, real, and unbreakable.
Having her by my side as my maid of honor is one of the greatest joys of this whole day. There’s no one else I’d rather share this moment with than the girl who’s been beside me through it all — my daughter, my sidekick, my forever.


Clare

Rachel and Kylie first met at Clare and Indi’s dance class — two mums just trying to keep up with twirls, tap shoes, and toddler chaos. 

As Clare and Indi started school together and their bond deepened, so too did Rachel and Kylie’s. What began as quick hellos and shared smiles soon turned into long conversations, real friendship, and plenty of laughs.

Bonded by a shared love of vodka (the good kind), honest chats, and the rollercoaster that is raising pre-teen girls, their friendship has become one of constant evolution — full of support, sass, and mutual understanding.

From school runs to late-night messages, dance recitals to deep talks, Rachel and Kylie have navigated motherhood, life, and everything in between — always with heart, humor, and the occasional clink of a well-earned drink.

Kylie

Rachel and Pam first crossed paths in 2014 in a local mothers’ group — both a little sleep-deprived, a little overwhelmed, and instantly connected by the shared chaos of new motherhood.

Since then, their friendship has been a beautiful (and hilarious) mix of heartfelt moments, deep conversations, and more disagreements than either of them can count — usually followed by laughter, coffee, and maybe a cheeky eye roll.

They’ve talked through everything from toddler tantrums to life’s big questions, bonded over mum guilt, swapped endless advice (some useful, some not-so-much), and built a friendship rooted in honesty, humour, and unconditional support.

Through it all, Pam has been more than a friend — she’s been Rachel’s sounding board, reality check, and ride-or-die mum buddy. The kind of friend who shows up with snacks, tissues, or tough love, depending on the day.

Justin and Brett’s bromance was built on a solid foundation of sarcasm, Jack Daniels, and a shared sense of humor that not everyone quite understands — but that’s what makes it great.

Over the years, their friendship has grown from lighthearted banter to something deeper: a true, unwavering support system. Through life’s twists, big moments, and everyday chaos, Brett has been the kind of friend who shows up — with no need for grand gestures, just quiet loyalty, honest advice, and a well-timed laugh when it’s needed most.

They’ve shared celebrations, setbacks, and everything in between — and somehow, always make it through with a smirk and a good story.

A friendship like this doesn’t come around often — and Justin and Brett will continue supporting each other through good and bad times.

Brett

Our friendship didn’t come with decades of history — just a shared love of Hot Wheels cars and an instant connection. From the start, it felt like we’d known each other forever, and somehow, the bond just kept getting stronger.

Lance is proof that the length of time doesn’t define the depth of friendship. He’s loyal, down-to-earth, and always the first to step up when something needs to be done. (He even mows our lawn — and not just once.) Whether it’s helping out or just showing up, he does it without being asked.

I feel incredibly lucky to have him standing beside me on such a big day — and even luckier knowing this is just the beginning. Here's to many years of memories to come.
From trading toy cars to real-life support, he’s one of those people you can count on — loyal, genuine, and always ready to help out. (He even mows our lawn. Seriously.)

Located in Wyong, 10 miles from Memorial Park, Royal Hotel Wyong provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. This 3-star inn offers an ATM and free WiFi. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. All guest rooms in the inn are equipped with an electric tea pot. At Royal Hotel Wyong, all rooms come with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Picnic Point Reserve is 11 miles from the accommodation, while Wyee Point Marina is 14 miles away. Newcastle Airport is 55 miles from the property.
