Our Wedding

Aleessa and Justin met in September of 2020, when Aleessa was working as a bartender at Brookwood Supper Club. Justin had been a regular there as he was “forced” by his friends to join a bags league there on Tuesdays. As their flirtatious interactions continued, they finally made the heavily anticipated decision to begin communicating and hanging out with each other outside of Aleessa’s workplace. After a few months of at home movie nights, golfing dates, and binge watching their favorite shows together, Aleessa took a monumental step forward and decided that it was time to introduce Justin to her daughter Miyla. After seeing the way that Justin interacted and connected with Miyla, she knew in her heart that he was the one. Not only for her, but for her daughter as well. Little did both of them know that the three of them would be inseparable from there on out. As time went on, Aleessa and Justin began staying together and gained a feel for living together as a couple, experiencing the similarities and differences of each other’s lifestyles and mannerisms, while also learning how to parent as a team. This only made their relationship stronger and their love for one another grow so much more. As their relationship started morphing into more of a family, Justin and Aleessa began searching for apartments in December of 2021, on top of expecting a baby girl together in September of 2022. In the early morning of August 29th 2022, Justin and Aleessa eagerly waited in the hospital together, until finally beautiful little Sophia was born. On April 28th 2024, on the gorgeous beach of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Justin proposed to Aleessa in company of their baby girls and family. That day was just the start of their wonderful journey together.
