Meeting on the winter Frassati ski trip was the perfect way to start the relationship between Justin and Lizzy. The Frassati trip was organized by St. Mary's Catholic Church in College Station. Justin and Lizzy have attended this church throughout their time at Texas A&M. However, they never met until January of 2023 on Frassati. They say there was an instant connection, but the first time they were in the same car driving up to Colorado they sat in silence next to each other. But once they hit the slopes and started playing board games the connection really started. Lizzy’s dad extended her trip by showing up in Colorado to ski a few more days and of course Lizzy had to invite Justin. This led him to believe that there was something there. When they came back to Texas, that's when things started in motion. Lizzy began planning how she was going to get Justin to ask her out, and Justin already had in mind that he was going to.

We have gone on many adventures since our first meeting, our biggest being a 17 day camping trip to 13 different national parks. Starting in Texas at Guadalupe National Park, we traveled into New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and ended in Colorado at the Great Sand Dunes. We are eager to cross off every national park together. One of the more recent National Parks we have gone to is Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We spent a day here in August of 2024 hiking and looking at many waterfalls. My favorite being the Great Falls of Tinkers Creek, where he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him.
